YOUR DATA AND PRIVACY

Privacy notice

This notice explains what information Gamerly uses to operate the shop, fulfil orders and provide customer support.

Who is responsible for your information

SG BROS LTD, trading as Gamerly, is the data controller for this website and shop. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17392018, with a registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA.

Privacy questions can be sent to support@gamerly.co.uk.

Information we use

Depending on how you use Gamerly, this may include your name, email address, delivery address, order details, payment status, support messages and order-tracking information. When you create an account or sign in, your verified email becomes your account identifier. We temporarily store a protected one-time code and keep a strictly necessary secure session cookie for up to 30 days after verification. When you are signed in, we may also save the contents of your basket so it remains available across visits and devices. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing.

We record daily aggregate counts of storefront visits, Card Finder starts and completions, product previews, basket additions and checkout starts so we can improve the shop and Card Finder. This analytics table contains only the action, a broad area of the site and a daily total. It does not store names, contact details, addresses, order numbers, product choices, free-text searches, IP addresses, referrers or persistent visitor identifiers. To protect this public counter from misuse, a keyed one-way token derived from network information is kept for only a few minutes and changes every minute; the network address itself is not stored. Purchase totals are calculated separately from completed orders.

If you use Gamer Mode, we remember whether it is switched on and save optional progression details such as completed quests, product and collection milestones, achievements, XP, opened Reward Chests, unused or redeemed reward tokens, your chosen cosmetic HUD style and whether quest sounds are enabled. Signed-in customers can have eligible quest progress, rewards and cosmetic preferences synced to their account; order XP is calculated from eligible paid orders. Guest progress is stored only on that device unless the customer later signs in and chooses to continue using Gamer Mode. Reward claims are stored against the verified account so a chest cannot be opened or redeemed more than once.

If a signed-in customer submits a Dren UFO Survival score, we store their best survival time for the current month and link it privately to their account email. The public leaderboard shows only a random pilot tag, such as PILOT-ABC123, and never displays the customer’s email address or name. Guest and reduced-motion calm-mode runs are not submitted to the timed leaderboard.

If you arrive through an affiliate link or enter a referral or coupon code, we process the code, an anonymous visit identifier, the landing page, referral date and any resulting paid-order value so that we can attribute the order, calculate commission and prevent duplicate click reporting. Affiliates see aggregate performance and order references only; they do not receive customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses or payment details.

Why we use it

We use personal information to process and fulfil orders, take payment, provide delivery and tracking updates, prevent misuse, respond to support requests and meet accounting or other legal obligations.

Anonymous daily usage totals help us see where the Card Finder or shopping journey needs improvement. They are not used for advertising, profiling, automated decisions, Gamer Mode rewards or affiliate attribution.

If you allow marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel to understand how visitors use Gamerly, measure whether adverts lead to product views, basket activity, checkout or purchases, and improve future advertising. This optional processing is based on your consent and stays off when you choose essential cookies only.

If you enter checkout and do not opt out, we may use the email address collected while you are considering a purchase to send one reminder about that unfinished Gamerly basket after approximately one hour. The reminder concerns Gamerly’s own similar products, contains an unsubscribe link and does not use tracking pixels. We rely on the electronic-mail “soft opt-in” where its requirements are met. You can opt out when entering checkout or unsubscribe from the message.

If you are signed in, we send a pre-checkout saved-basket reminder only when you actively select the reminder option in your basket. It is sent once after approximately one hour of inactivity, stops when checkout begins, and includes an unsubscribe link. You can untick the option before the reminder is sent.

Service providers

Information is shared only where needed with providers that help run the shop, including payment, hosting, printing, fulfilment and delivery services. When you allow marketing cookies, limited website-event information is also shared with Meta and TikTok for advertising measurement. Those providers process information under their own legal and security responsibilities.

Cookies & browser storage

Gamerly uses a small amount of browser storage and strictly necessary cookies to provide the services you ask for. This includes remembering basket contents, your checkout email, optional Gamer Mode settings and versioned quest progress, keeping signed-in customers securely authenticated, maintaining chat continuity, and helping Stripe and Cloudflare protect checkout and the website against fraud or misuse.

When a visitor follows a Gamerly affiliate link, first-party browser storage remembers the referral code and an anonymous visit token for up to 30 days. This is used only to credit the relevant Gamerly affiliate if the visitor later places a paid order. It is not shared with advertising networks and is not used to build a behavioural profile. A coupon code entered at checkout takes priority over an earlier referral link. Removing the stored website data from your browser clears this attribution.

With your permission, Gamerly uses the Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and their advertising cookies to record page views and shopping events such as viewing a product, adding it to the basket, beginning checkout and completing a purchase. Event details can include the public page address, product IDs and names, quantities, order value and currency, an order reference used to prevent duplicate purchase measurement, plus browser, device and advertising-cookie identifiers. Gamerly does not send Meta or TikTok the customer’s name, email address, delivery address or payment details through these Pixel events, and Meta automatic advanced matching is not enabled.

Meta may use advertising identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc in line with its own terms and privacy information. You can read Meta’s cookie information.

TikTok describes cookies such as _ttp and ttcsid_* as advertising cookies, which may remain for up to 13 months. TikTok may combine Pixel information with information it already holds in line with its own terms and privacy information. You can read TikTok’s Pixel cookie information.

The cookie notice gives equally available Allow all and Essential only choices. The Meta and TikTok base code does not load unless you allow marketing cookies. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer on any public page and change your choice; choosing essential only stops future Pixel activity on that browser.

A first-party purchase marker may remain in browser storage solely to prevent the same completed order being measured more than once. It does not enable Meta or TikTok tracking while marketing consent is off.

Our daily aggregate usage measurement does not set or read cookies or browser storage, and its requests do not include your signed-in credentials or page referrer.

Essential technologies cannot be switched off through the notice because they are needed to provide requested features or keep them secure. You can read the ICO guidance on storage and access exceptions.

How long information is kept

Information is retained only for as long as it is needed for fulfilment, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations. Retention periods can differ depending on the type of record. Unfinished checkout records and signed-in saved baskets used for basket recovery are normally removed after 30 days unless they are needed to resolve a payment, security or legal issue. Short-lived game-verification sessions expire after approximately 20 minutes; monthly best scores may be retained to operate and review the leaderboard.

Daily aggregate usage totals may be retained for trend comparison. Because they contain only a date, action, broad site area and count, they cannot be used to reconstruct an individual visitor’s journey.

Affiliate referral browser storage expires after 30 days. Affiliate click, commission and payout records may be retained for reporting, dispute handling, fraud prevention and accounting obligations. If you opt out of basket reminders, we keep the minimum suppression record—normally your email address and the date—so that we can continue to respect that choice.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, and may have other rights depending on the circumstances. Contact support@gamerly.co.uk. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
